Light Box is a Bristol social enterprise founded in 2010 by Lucy Duggan and Lucy Barfoot, and says it has trained more than 350 forest therapy practitioners through its sixteen-week programme. The course is entirely live online, with the first eight weeks on theory and practice and the second eight on a mentored practicum, in small closed groups. It has a research partnership with the University of Bristol’s psychiatry department. Light Box publishes a public map of graduates, which is unusual among UK providers, and its course is one of the most affordable of the established routes.

What’s included

Posted course materials, two one-to-one tutorials, two group coaching calls, an eight-week mentored practicum, lifetime access to recordings, a certificate, a listing on the Light Box graduate directory, a private community, and eligibility for professional insurance.
